Our story

In 2019, our ministry started with $60.

That’s it. Pretty crazy, right?

Early Years

(Nov. 2019-2023) We used that initial $60 to buy 12-$5 goodie bags to pass out to people we met on the street!

Many times, when someone would receive one of our “HOPE Baskets” they would have tears in their eyes, appreciative of someone thinking of them.

This opportunity would allow us to pray over people, to share the gospel of Jesus, or invite them to our annual HOPE Conference.

Those initial events were so successful because God is faithful!

Tough Times

When we opened, we thought 2020 was going to be a great year to start a ministry! As it turns out, it was very difficult!

COVID shut down everything! During this time, the biggest question for us was, “How do we operate an outreach ministry when everything is on lock down, and everyone is scared to be near one another?”

Despite this challenge, we explored many different avenues of accomplishing our mission! Live streaming Bible studies, creating HOPE Podcast, hosting Toy Drive’s, Backpack Drive’s, writing blog posts and books, and many other projects!

Today, Message of Hope’s programs and services are a culmination of learning what worked and what didn’t.
